God's angel will protect you

ree

Today’s promise word is taken from Exodus 23:20, which says, “See, I am sending an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.” God has indeed prepared a place for us in heaven, and that is why Jesus said in John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.” We all have a guardian angel who will accompany us to the place Jesus has assigned for us. But in this life, we can be misguided and deviate from the way because of the interference of evil forces. Do not worry, for the Lord gives us this promise in Exodus 23:20 that He will bring us to the appointed place with the assistance of His angel of light.

Also, in Isaiah 27:3, God calls us a garden that He keeps, waters, nourishes, and protects so that we may bear fruit at the right time. In the Gospel according to St. John, Jesus says that He is the Good Shepherd who will lead His sheep and go before them to protect them (John 10:11). Any act of the evil one sent through the agents of the devil will not harm you if you ask Jesus to protect you. Instead, through your prayers, it will be sent to the feet of Jesus at that very moment. Your enemies will perish not because of God but because of their own wicked actions, as said in Jeremiah 2:19. Every wicked action of your enemy will bring its own punishment upon their heads. But when an enemy sincerely repents and prays to Jesus for forgiveness and intervention, that punishment will be absorbed by the body of Jesus through a divine exchange. Your enemies may fight against you to destroy you, but they will not prevail, for the Lord your God is your protector and deliverer (Jeremiah 1:19).

The Word of God assures us that His promises are not empty, but living and active. Scripture says, “The Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one” (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Again, the psalmist declares, “He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:11). These verses remind us that God’s hand of protection is real, and His promises are fulfilled in the lives of His people. What we read in the Bible is not just history but living truth that continues to manifest even today. And today we see how this very Word of God has come alive in the testimonies of His children.

In the case of Elizabeth Fong, it is evident that her enemy was persecuting her, but she was protected by Jesus and delivered. Elizabeth Fong testifies that after seven years she was acquitted in a court case in which she was falsely accused of assaulting her daughter. She regularly placed her prayer requests, asking for God’s intervention. Father Jose mentioned her name, declaring that God was blessing her. That very day, she was acquitted. After seven long years of waiting, the Lord has set her free. Today’s promise word is fulfilled in Elizabeth’s life.

Likewise,Menezes from Goa was suffering from sickness, but finally, he was healed by Jesus. Menezes says, “I am healed from allergic rhinitis after 22 years. I had been suffering from allergic rhinitis for 22 years, causing continuous sneezing throughout the day that left me drained. During a residential retreat, during the inner healing session, Father Jose said that two people were being healed of dust allergies. I claimed it in faith, and from that moment, my sneezing completely stopped. I am totally healed in Jesus’ name!”

You may also have similar enemies in your life. Do not fear them but stand still and watch the Lord fight the battle for you (2 Chronicles 20:17). Jesus spoke to St. Paul when he was persecuting the Christians and warned through this verse that whoever persecutes His Church will face serious consequences (Acts 9:4–5; 26:14). We are His Church and are among the recipients of the promise given in Acts 9 and 26. Therefore, whoever persecutes you will face dire consequences. You only need to pray the SEP prayer for chastising the wicked so that they may be transformed through your prayers. Until you reach your final destination—heaven—you will be protected by our Lord.

Extend your hands towards Jesus and offer all your prayer intentions. Come out of the fear of black magic and enemies. I pray over all your intentions, that you may be protected by our Lord Jesus, and may the Lord grant you victory over all your enemies. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
